The starting point for most patient-dentist relationships, a comprehensive examination and consultation is critical to establishing a baseline of information for the dentist caring for your oral health needs.

Whether prompted by treatment of a specific ailment, a desire to undertake a program of personal, comprehensive dental care, or a desire to a locate a new dentist, any individual whether a new or existing patient of Dr. Caputo, can avail themselves of a comprehensive examination and consultation at a discounted, fixed cost (see details).

A comprehensive examination and consultation are often:

• The first step in treatment of a specific problem.
• The starting point for establishing a relationship with a new dentist.
• Initiated by a new or existing patient as part of a personal oral health plan.

If an examination is scheduled by the patient as the first step in seeking treatment of a specific ailment, treatment may immediately follow the examination, if the patient desires. To schedule an appointment please call our office at 727-789-1333.

Dr. Caputo and his staff generally are able to schedule your appointment, whether for an initial visit or existing patient, within two to three days.

Comprehensive Dentistry and a Personal Care Plan

Dr. Caputo, a graduate of the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery, is among the small group of dentists who practice “Comprehensive Dentistry”.

With advanced training in oral surgery, periodontal care, endodontic care, as well as general dentistry, Dr. Caputo's, experience combined with his commitment to personalized care place him among the minority of dentists qualified and willing to practice this form of dentistry.

Dr. Caputo offers patients three (3) forms of Sedation Dentistry, oral (a pill), inhalation (nitrous oxide) as well as I.V. sedation.

You may wish to discuss a personal care plan with Dr. Caputo. While not required, your examination is an ideal opportunity to discuss placing your overall oral health needs within the context of a personal care plan.
