There is more than one way to identify (number) the human’s teeth. The most universally used tooth identification system starts in the upper right with tooth #1, proceeds around the upper arch to tooth #16(last tooth, wisdom tooth), drops down to the lower left wisdom tooth #17, proceeds around to the last tooth lower right, a wisdom tooth, #32. The first secondary (adult) teeth to come in at the age of 6 are our first molars, #3(upper right), #14(upper left), #19(lower left) and #30(lower right).
